I admit I am a matcha addict. I also have no shame in saying I am a collagen junkie. So when I discovered one of my favorite supplement brands, Vital Proteins, came out with their new Matcha Collagen…I immediately ordered my tub & let me tell you, this stuff is pure (green) gold! 💚

Matcha

Matcha is finely ground powder from green tea leaves that have been grown in the shade with conditions that produce more L-theanine (a relaxing amino acid) & caffeine than coffee. This wonderful chemical combination creates a “calm energy.” In the 12th century, when matcha was first introduced to Japan by the influential monk, Eisai Myoan, Zen buddhists & samurai drank it for meditative focus. Tea connoisseurs around the world now enjoy this delicious beverage for many other reasons:

Why I ❤️ Vital Protein Matcha Collagen

Foremost, I absolutely love the fact that Vital Protein’s Matcha Collagen is free from any artificial ingredients, added sugar, gluten, & dairy. I have long been a devoted consumer of their Collagen Peptides for its natural, high quality nutrients that are sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine hides.
